My husband just bought a used 2004 Honda Odyssey, but the cloth seats are so uncomfortable for me. Can I put covers on the seats to make them more comfortable or put in different seats? Where would I get the covers and seats from? Thanks

I have a 1990 Honda Civic hatchback… It seems that Honda had a problem with the driver’s seat tearing on the backrest (the part you hit everytime you get in the seat). All of the Honda’s I have found in junkyards have the same problem- so I can’t buy a used seat, and I don’t like the seat covers I have found. Does anyone have any advice for me… I am going to have the seat recovered. What is the cause of this problem & what can I do to prevent it from happening once I recover the seat?
Try to find the front seats from a newer Civic or Integra and put them in. You may have to swap the seat pans or modify them but it should be pretty easy to do.

I’m not the smartest person when it comes to auto repair. Last week I had an accident with my Ford Expedition and I wasn’t sure how to fix them. If you’re looking for a seat COVER and have a stapler to do it yourself then YES it will. It’s just a cover and it’s fabric. You can manipulate it to fit.
