I am restoring a B reg Honda CX500 motorcycle. I either need a new seat cover, or new seat. I have looked on Ebay but I can only see ones that are in the US or Canada. Has anyone got one, or know of someone who has one that they would be willing to sell. I live near Cambridge, so would not really want to travel a great distance.

Try David Silver Spares.

They are showing the seat cover for £17 or a complete seat for £83.

Can anyone tell me where I can purchase a cheap used complete seat (not just a seat cover) for a 2004 Honda Foreman?

, Almost impossible to find a used seat, unless you find a used Foreman. Used Foreman and Rancher Quads are 1. in demand, 2. Do not wear out to where you would find one that did not need it’s seat. Try the dealer nearest you, and ask if they can get an after market seat pan, and bun and cover set, or an aftermarket custom seat,l normally less money than the stock seat from Honda. try parts unlimited catalog at you dealership.

I have a honda crv, bought it second hand..it had sheep skin covers on,
I was trying to get them off from drivers’ seat…., I was able to get all off, else than where, the arm rest is attached to the seat,

I dont think there is any way to detch arm rest, manual says nothing.

If I will pull, it looks like it is all around the arm rest and will tear off..
its stuck at the pivot point where arm rest is attached to the seat

See if there is a zipper or a velcro seam on the bottom of the arm rest. This will allow you to remove the arm rest cover and remove any screw or bolt holding it on to the seat frame. If there isn’t, feel around the back of the arm rest and along the side where the pivot point is for a button. There has to be some kind of release for it. The release may also be in the seat back. You may have to remove the factory cover to find it though.

I have tried David Silver with no success.Apparently Honda don’t do them.

If Silvers cannot do it you will have to get one made by a restorer

Well its a Honda Civic 1995. Its a Regular seat, but at the top left for driver and top right for passanger it has like the arm going up then it has the head rest area. So it looks like a regular car seat with the floating head piece on top.

you can look for places where you can buy seat covers online. all you have to tell them is the make, model and year of your car and they’ll find the seat cover that fits your seat. PROVIDED that what you have are the seats that came with your car as original equipment.

i know that seat you’re talking of, and over here that’s not the stock seat. I know in the Japanese Market that was the stock seat, but i dunno in the US. if it is, then you don’t have a problem. if you had those bought aftermarket, then you might have to do some really hard looking, or just have one custom-made for your seat.

I was recently told about a company in Bradford, West Yorkshire, who did this sort of work for about £60. Unfortunately, I didn’t write down the information. My bike seat shows me up and I need a replacement.

here, just like original.

I want to get some cute punky girly pink type seat covers in my car. I look on ebay and the only thing I can find is either Hello Kitty, or anything that I find that I like says its for a certain type of car. Like a honda accord or something. Do I have to buy specifically grand am seat covers? the ones from wal-mart fit!

also- know a good place to find cutesy seat covers?

The only time that you’ll really have to pay attention to the build style of the seat covers, is if your car has side impact air bags (often mounted in the side of the seats). Any seatcovers that you’d install will have to have special break-away fabric/threads in the appropriate location of the side airbags, so that the airbags can deploy correctly in the event of an accident.

Otherwise, it’s up to you to decide if you want to try seat covers that are built for a different type of vehicle. If they’re not listed as generic/universal fit but for a specific car/custom, that probably means that they may be made in the correct proportions for the curvature/size of the seat in that specific car, and may not fit appropriately into your Grand Am.

Have you tried asking on a Grand Am forum for suggestions?

As I haven’t purchased from any of the retailers that Google found for pink car seat covers, I do not think that it is appropriate that I suggest them to you (since I don’t know how well any of them do on service). Strange that so many of them are in the UK. Pink hawaiian seems pretty common, as does pink camo, hello kitty, and pink on black racing styles.

I want to add seat covers to Honda accord 2007. For that, I need to remove the reat seats (back/bottom/side) of the car. How do I remove it. Any help?

the bottom will pull up, if it dont then push it in(toward the trunk) and lift up on the edge. and the back will probably have bolts or screws at the bottom, after you get the bottom out then youll see them
