Ok so my dad got a 2007 toyota tundra and we just bought some seat covers for it.
in the back seat we are not able to push the seat covers all the way down.
my question is does anyone know what these black things are for?

They probably are the "tethers" for the LATCH system.
LATCH stands for :
Lower Anchors & Tethers for Children.
First pioneered by Ford & federally mandated in 1999 for ALL vehicles in the US

Sorry i had a hard time trying to find a photo of the Tundra’s tethers, but I think you can tell what they are.
