I got a 2008 Scion XB and I want to get either leather seat covers for the 2 front seats and the bench seats or should I take it to a upholstery place where they can install the leather on to the seats and stitching it or can I order leather seats from a Toyota dealership?
Call the dealership that you got the xB from. Most dealerships have a company they recommend. I’ve never worked for a dealership that didn’t have an after-market source for leather interior.

Increase the distance between your vehicle and the one ahead. Motorists should reduce their speed because the tires do not grip as well on wet pavement as they do on dry pavement.

Im trying to remove the backseat of my corolla xrs to put a seat cover on back there and i cant figure out how. i went looking in the owners manual and it said that there was levers in the truck that you pull to fold down the backseat, so i figured i would start there but turns out that the xrs model doesnt have them(it said something about the space was needed for something else). if anyone out there no’s of a way to get these seat out could you please let me no. Oh and to make things worse i have a built in speaker box in the trunk that im not sure if i can get out so if you no how to get the seat out from inside the car that would be helpful to!
You will need to remove seat bottom first just pull really hard on the front of seat and then when you get seat bottom out you will see to 12mm bolts that hold top on
Has anyone replaced their stock seat cover – either driver or passenger? I’m considering buying this (see link), but I’m leery about doing the work myself. I’m afraid I’ll ruin the stock cover taking it off and that I’ll wreck or do a bad job recovering it.
This is the item I’m thinking about. I have a corbin seat, so I would only cover the passenger seat. No one will use it – I lost my seat cowl and don’t feel like spending the money to replace that.

I’ve done plenty. No major operation. Look how the old one is attached. I’ll guess with staples. If so, you’ll need a staple gun (not a paper stapler). When you get the old cover off, practice stretching it back on again until you feel comfortable enough to install the new one. Or just get someone else to do it if you don’t feel confident.
i have not head from UFO in a long time. i am not sure if they make it for the 400EX. you may check out full bore plastic. they did make a nice set for the 400EX
OK, I drove my wife to work this morning so I could use her truck. She didn’t know it but me and my pal Rusty went deer hunting today. It’s not exactly deer season but we know where a bunch of deer live by the river where we fish so we just drove on out there and sure enough there was a big old doe there eating grass by the boat launch so Rusty takes out his 30.06 and drops her like a bag of hammers! We were celebrating with a few beers when we got to thinking what if a game warden is waiting to check out truck when we leave? So instead of putting the deer in the bed of the truck we just stuffed her on the floor in the back seat (its a big 2008 Dodge crew cab truck). Then we just covered her all up with our coats and stuff and drove on home. Well, when we get to Rusty’s house and pull out the deer we see that it bled all over the back seat and carpet. Like gallons of it. Now what do I do? I tried washing it out with Dawn and a garden hose but the floor was filling up with water. So I grabbed a big hole-punch and a hammer and knocked a bunch of holes in the floor so the bloody water would drain out. Now its soaking wet and smelly and all stained with blood. One of her friends dropped her off after work so she ain’t seen the truck yet. She’s normally pretty laid back cause she knows how I am and all but she’s nuts about her truck. Do you think she’ll go postal when she finds out? Should I just spend the night at Rusty’s tonight?
I hope there aren’t any bears where you live, cause you’re sleeping in the truck tonight!
